Flyers Bounce Back in Big Shutout Win

Updated: Jan 21, 2021

After last night's debacle, the Flyers were able to rally themselves to secure their third win of the season. Thanks to incredible goaltending by backup goalie Brian Elliot and a razzle dazzle move by Travis Konecny on a break away courtesy of Oskar Lindblom, the Flyers are leaving the Wells Fargo Center with a 3-1-0 record. The two other goals were scored by Jake Voracek (first of the year) and Kevin Hayes on an empty net, solidifying the Flyers victory.

Although we are happy to send the Flyers off for some road games on a win, it came at a cost. Both Phil Myers and Morgan Frost were injured in the game and did not return to play, leaving the flyers short players at both ends of the ice. Check back in for an injury report prior to the Flyers next game, slated for Thursday night against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.
