Game 10 Preview: Flyers vs Islanders
The Flyers are right back in action after surviving last night's game against the Islanders in a 3-2 overtime victory. After a thrilling first period of play from the orange and black, the team was heavily outplayed by the Islanders for the remainder of the game. It feels like the team has been outplayed and overmatched in most of their games this season, yet they are somehow 6-2-1 on the season.
As the team tried to complete a mini-sweep over the Islanders (and overall fourth consecutive victory), there will be some lineup changes. Brian "MOOOOSE" Elliott gets the call between the pipes, and Travis Konecny is expected to be put back in after a one game benching.
Prediction
The healthy scratching last night will light a fire under Travis Konecny. He'll deposit his seventh career goal against the Islanders in tonight's game.
