Game 18 Preview: Flyers at Sabres
The Flyers are off to a good start this weekend, as they took game one in the mini-series against the Buffalo Sabres 3-0. Since their embarrassing loss to the Boston Bruins in Lake Tahoe, the Flyers offense has pushed the petal to the metal, outshooting their opponents 78-50 in these past two games.
With the Sabres in a free fall (3-6-1 in past 10 games), the Flyers have a chance to secure another two points that could prove crucial by the time the season ends. The team has a three-game series with the Penguins coming up this week, but they can not overlook this Sabres team by thinking about that all-important rivalry matchup that is on the horizon. We'll see if the Flyers can avoid playing down to their competition and continue their rampant play.
