Game 2 Preview: Flyers vs Penguins

Updated: Jan 18, 2021

Welcome back, Flyers fans! After a big opening night win, we are returning to the Wells Fargo Center for round two versus the Penguins. The Flyers steamrolled the Penguins 6-3 on Wednesday night and will hope to continue their success into tonight's matinee. Joel Farabee led the Flyers with four points in the game, and Flyers fans were happy to see both Nolan Patrick and Oskar Lindblom score in their first regular season games since returning to the lineup.

Carter Hart will be between the pipes once again for the Flyers after posting a .912 save percentage by stopping 31/34 shots on Wednesday. The defensive struggles from previous seasons seemed to carry over in the season opener, and if that trend continues it will cause some trouble for the Flyers. However, the retooled power play (2/3 on Wednesday) was definitely a welcomed sight. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM.
