Game 6 Preview: Flyers at Bruins
The Flyers are back in action at TD Garden to finish up their mini-series against the Boston Bruins. They fell in their first game 5-4, but were able to escape with a point as the game was decided in a shootout. The offense continues to keep pace with its opponents, but so far in the young season it has been the defense that has been dragging its legs. The team has allowed 30 or more shots in all five of their games, making life for Carter Hart and Brian Elliott harder than it needs to be.
Thankfully, the injury Mark Friedman suffered in Thursday's game doesn't appear to be serious, as he is back in tonight's lineup. The Flyers will be able to keep the same lineup for back-to-back games for the first time since games #1 and #2 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Prediction
The defense will collect itself a bit, and with the help from solid goaltending, the Flyers give up one or fewer goals.
